剧情简介（中英文）：

这是一个关于审判两个行刑者的故事。一个行刑者因为同情而不能执行自己的任务，另一个行刑者因为沉迷于暴力而滥杀无辜。在表面上，该剧探讨了暴力的合法性问题。从更深层次上，它描绘了人在体系下如何变为机器，进而抛出了何而为人的终极追问。正如康德的批判哲学提出的四个问题：我能知道什么，我应该做什么，我可以希望什么，人是什么。

This is a story about the trial of two executioners. One executioner was unable to perform his task because of sympathy, and another executioner indiscriminately killed by indulging in violence. On the surface, the play explores the legality of violence. At a deeper level, it portrays how people become machines under the system, and then throws out the ultimate question of what is human. As Kant’s critical philosophy raises four questions: What can I know, what I should do, what I can hope for, and what is man.
