The Franco-Swiss group, the BIG TUSK, releases its debut album "IT'S ALIVE" which promises to shake up the European nu jazz scene.

Six years have passed since their inaugural EP in 2018, and the BIG TUSK finally delivers a gem, a total fusion of influences from their generation (90s) and their free approach stemming from jazz improvisation.

Some "Techno/Minimal" tracks - Bad Mammuth, Barking, Massive Sunstroke, Morse Code - rub shoulders with "Prog Rock" ones - Catechism, Halcyon - and even "Trap" one - Cardia - or "Drum'n'bass" ones- Tulpamancer, The Ascent - with coherence and naturalness.

With a synth riff that will stay in your head forever, and a bass sound worthy of the stickiest clubs in Berlin, its slow but entrancing beat feels like a herd of mammoths crossing the valley of death without even noticing.

2018 年毕业于洛桑高等音乐学院（HEMU） ，期间，他荣获 Cully Jazz 音乐节奖。

2019 年 3 月，他与 Shems Bendali Quintet 录制并发行首张专辑《Choukheads》，并随即展开涵盖瑞士、法国与英国 的 25 场巡演。该专辑于 2019 年 6 月被《Jazz Magazine》评为“年度新锐专辑（Revelation Album）”，并获得法瑞两国乐评界的高度赞誉。

Shems Bendali is a young French jazz trumpeter based in Switzerland who has a lot to say, and he doesn't hold back.

He is the winner of the Cully Jazz Festival prize at the end of his studies at HEMU Lausanne in 2018.

In March 2019, his first album "Choukheads" was released, recorded with the Shems Bendali Quintet. From then on, the group embarked on a 25-date tour in Switzerland, France, and England. A debut album that quickly became "Revelation Album Jazz Magazine" in June 2019. It was widely acclaimed by French and Swiss music critics.

That same year, the young trumpeter's band won the Grand Prix at the Avignon Jazz Festival. He also won the award for best composition with the ballad "Anima".

Théo Duboule

瑞士吉他手、制作人，现常驻日内瓦与柏林两地。

Théo Duboule is a Swiss guitarist and producer based between Geneva and Berlin.

His music is recognized for a certain radicality applied to popular aesthetics. Centered around improvisation, he explores diverse influences such as John Coltrane, Steve Lehman, Nirvana, Jimi Hendrix, as well as elements of hip-hop culture.

Since 2012, he has performed on Swiss and international stages. In 2014, his "Infinit" octet was also selected to participate in the "DKSJ exchange nights" tour. In 2017, he won the Trophées du Sunside and the Jazz Contreband competition with OGGY & the Phonics.

Andrew Audiger

从洛桑高等音乐学院（HEMU）毕业后，他的项目AA Trio 入选2018年 Swiss Diagonale 巡演，并于2019年 ZKB JazzPreis中获得二等奖。同年，他在La Buissonne录音棚录制并发行首张专辑《Le Chant du Sable》。

他曾登上蒙特勒爵士音乐节、维也纳爵士音乐节、蒙特利尔爵士音乐节等重要舞台；近期还与 Erik Truffaz 4tet 一同在英国 Jazz Café 演出。

作为一名多才多艺的音乐人，Andrew Audiger 在多个项目中不断探索多样风格，倡导无风格壁垒的演奏理念。

Andrew Audiger is a French jazz pianist based in Lausanne, Switzerland. An eclectic musician, he expresses himself through a multitude of projects and performs on the Swiss and European scene.

After studying at HEMU Lausanne, Andrew was selected with his project AA TRIO for the Swiss Diagonale 2018 tour and won the 2nd prize at the ZKB JazzPreis 2019. As a result, he recorded his first album "LE CHANT DU SABLE" in 2019 at Studio La Buissonne.

Andrew Audiger has also had the opportunity to perform at major festivals and concert halls in Europe .

A versatile musician, he explores a multitude of styles through his projects and thus defends a barrier-free approach to playing.

Since 2018, Andrew Audiger has been a KORG artist.

Nathan Vandenbulcke

法国鼓手/打击乐手。Nathan从7岁开始学习音乐，最初学习的是古典打击乐，后来，他在洛桑取得爵士硕士学位。2017年，获得Barrière基金会奖学金。

他曾担任南特乐队Monolithes的颤音琴演奏者，目前作为鼓手活跃于多个瑞士法语区乐团，包括Gabriel Zufferey Trio、Mohs及Louis Matute Large Ensemble。

他对传统与现代爵士、世界音乐及电子音乐充满热情，深受Elvin Jones、Paul Motian、Brian Blade、Marcus Gilmore、Craig Weinrib等国际鼓手的影响。

Nathan Vandenbulcke began learning music at the age of 7 through classical percussion, then obtained a master's degree in Jazz in Lausanne, where he was also awarded a scholarship for "Talent and Creativity" by the Barriere Foundation in 2017.

He was a vibraphonist for the Nantes group Monolithes and currently plays as a drummer in various Swiss-Romande formations such as the Gabriel Zufferey trio, Mohs, and Louis Matute Large Ensemble.

Passionate about traditional/modern Jazz, world music, and electronic music, he is influenced by a large number of international drummers such as Elvin Jones, Paul Motian, Brian Blade, Marcus Gilmore, and Craig Weinrib.
